Yes Man is a 2008 romantic comedy film directed by Peyton Reed, written by Nicholas Stoller, Jarrad Paul, and Andrew Mogel and starring Jim Carrey, Zooey Deschanel, Bradley Cooper, John Michael Higgins, Rhys Darby, Maile Flanagan, Danny Masterson, and Terence Stamp. The film is based loosely on the 2005 book Yes Man by British humourist Danny Wallace, who also makes a cameo appearance in the film.
The film was a box office success, despite receiving mixed reviews from critics. It was released on 19 December 2008, opening at No. 1 at the box office in its first weekend with $18.3 million and was then released on 26 December 2008 in the United Kingdom going straight to the top of the box office in its first weekend after release. Production for the film began in October 2007 in Los Angeles. [1]

Jim Carrey isn't quite the man he was, but his antics still work here. Zooey Deschanel did a good job as well. It's a sort of cutesy movie... where Carrey, a guy in a dead-end (but decent-paying) bank position ends up learning to just say "yes"... he accepts loans that are much smaller than they used to accept and things get better.

Not the best Carrey movie but if you want a movie that will leave you feeling happy and mildly amused, this one is a decent rental.
